Restorative Yoga
Yoga and yoga therapy integrate mindful breathing, conscious relaxation, focused body-awareness and deliberate movements to encourage the release of stress to achieve equilibrium and restoration. Each practice is personalized to accommodate the unique needs and capabilities of our clients, allowing them to progress at their own pace and comfort levels. Over time, these therapeutic sessions can help improve one’s overall health and self-awareness, while reducing tension, enhancing vitality and strengthening the body-mind connection–all of which provide the basis for self-healing a more balanced life.
Restorative Yoga: We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely.
During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited, and a few of the measurable results of deep relaxation are the reduction of blood pressure, serum triglycerides and blood sugar levels in the blood, the increase of the “good cholesterol” levels, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination, the reduction of muscle tension, insomnia and generalized fatigue.
Art Therapy and Art Expression
Art therapy is facilitated by the art therapist, use art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. A goal in art therapy is to improve or restore a client’s functioning and his or her sense of personal well-being. Art therapy practice requires knowledge of visual art (drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms) and the creative process, as well as of human development, psychological, and counseling theories and techniques.
Today art therapy is a widely practiced in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, psychiatric and rehabilitation facilities, wellness centers, forensic institutions, schools, crisis centers, senior communities, private practice, and other clinical and community settings. During individual and/or group sessions art therapists elicit their clients’ inherent capacity for art making to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Research supports the use of art therapy within a professional relationship for the therapeutic benefits gained through artistic self-expression and reflection for individuals who experience illness, trauma, and mental health problems and those seeking personal growth.
Coffee Enemas
Coffee enemas have long been in use. In a case report in the Pacific Medical and Surgical Journal in December 1866, M.A. Cachot, MD, described successful use of a coffee enema to treat a child dying from an accidental poisoning.
WHY COFFEE ENEMAS? We live in a toxic world. Never has planet earth been as polluted as it is today. The levels of some toxic metals are over a thousand times greater than ever before in history. These metals include lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, aluminum and nickel. However, there are others commonly found in our food air and water such as uranium, beryllium, bismuth, antimony, zirconium, gadolinium, tin and others, as well.
In addition to removing toxins from the body, coffee enemas can:
• Clean and heal the colon
• Detoxify the liver and colon and help rebuild the liver.
• Reduce many types of pain.
• Help eliminate many parasites.
• Reduce and get rid of many symptoms of general toxicity. Since toxicity is the cause of dozens of common symptoms from arthritis to cancer, coffee enemas help with many, if not most diseases and conditions.
• Help with depression, confusion, and general nervous tension.
• Increase mental clarity, improve energy levels, increase joy and happiness, improve digestion, and reduce anger.
• Enable clients to get through difficult healing and purification reactions.
• At least three dozen clients have confided to me “coffee enemas saved my life”.
Meditation
This profoundly effective meditation is simple to learn and easy to do. Though use of focus, breath, and guided imagery, we become more present with our body, mind and feelings. From this heightened state of awareness we can improve our health by reducing stress and tension and increasing our experience of well being and positive emotions.
Emotional Counseling
The mind, body, emotions and spirit are integrated and work together. When someone is diagnosed with a serious illness, it is challenging not only physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Emotional Counseling has proven to be beneficial in meeting those challenges. A session in Emotional Counseling is, basically, both free-form and guided sharing of thoughts, feelings and impressions.

They provide cardiovascular exercise, help you watch your weight and increase your strength. Recumbents also have the additional benefits of better safety and more comfort, and they put less stress on your knees and hips.

Health Coaching
Many of us have some area of our lives that doesn’t work as well as other areas, or some life-style behavior that is working against us, not for us. In the past we may have tried to improve our health or quality of life but found it difficult to stick with the change we wanted. Coaching is an intervention that can assist. Coaching has been shown to significantly increase the success rate for making health and life changes. It is a service in which a collaborative rather than prescriptive relationship is established between coach and client. It enables the client to identify and clearly define a goal they want to work on, a reasonable plan for achieving it and a pace that feels right to them. The coach facilitates not only action planning and achievement for the client but also self –discovery, so learning can carry through to other areas of the client’s life. Coaching has helped individuals stop smoking, lose weight, follow medically prescribed regimens, improve relationships, change careers, and much more. When you are ready to make a change – coaching can help you make the commitment and stay on track.
